Fine Bakery Products

According to ‘forum.wordreference.com’, products categorized under the term “bread”, contain sugars and fat not exceeding 5% on a dry weight basis. Contrastingly, those which surpass the 5% limit are designated as “Fine bakery wares”. These exquisite products tend to be high in fat and sweet. Let’s be honest, we all have a sweet tooth sometimes, but for me it’s all the time (mouth starting to water). Although, some can be categorized as either sweet or savory, they are epitomized as fine bakery wares. So, to all of you out there especially the teens who want to maintain that summer body, like yours truly, the savory products are right up your alley. However, for those who just want to let loose and enjoy yourselves, then the sweet kinds are for you. Whichever you choose I bet it will be delectable! We Jamaicans are popular for numerous things, one of which is our foods. Jamaican cuisine has been derived from numerous influences such as: Irish, African, Indian, British, French, Spanish and Chinese influences. For instance, for breakfast, traditionally we eat Callaloo with Dumplings, Ripe Plantain with Bread, Ackee and Salt fish with Dumplings and various types of Porridge's. However, when we are on the go and cannot be bothered to make such meals, we just grab our own types of “fine bakery wares”. These include: Bulla, Banana Bread, Potato Pudding (my personal favorite), Bun (with or without cheese), Water Crackers, Cream Crackers, Tea Biscuits and an “infinity” more. However, on a more sophisticated level, some persons have started eating Quiches. According to Wikipedia, Quiche is a part of French Cuisine, which can be served hot or cold. It contains ingredients such as pastry crust filled with eggs, milk or cream, and cheese, meat, seafood or vegetables.
