The dream of trading ‘approved marijuana’ across the globe has now become a reality. Pharma Ltd, a corporate firm, has received a $165 billion Kenya Shilling contract to export approved marijuana to Canada and Germany for a 10 year period. The Ugandan Government has been making tremendous moves from exporting cannabis buds to neighboring country (South Africa) and finally exporting approved marijuana on a global scale on behalf of the Pharma Ltd Company contract. The Government’s recent deal has made Uganda a country with the most potential and possibly a chief exporter of medicinal and recreational marijuana (approved in USA, Europe and Canada), to thousands of pharmacies across Canada and Germany.
The Ugandan Government’s collective effort will allow Uganda to export $10 million Kenya Shillings worth of the marijuana drugs (approved by USA, Canada and Europe) to Canada and $6 million Kenya Shillings worth of approved marijuana drugs to Germany as of June 2019. With this collaborative effort, Uganda intends or is expected to meet the growing or future demands of approved marijuana drugs more effectively and efficiently. The objective of the Ugandan Government is to embrace the essence of marijuana, as well as eliminating stereotypes or stigma that surrounds marijuana and its uses. This contract is a huge opportunity for Uganda and other exporters economically and politically, since it could aid in the abolishment of worldwide marijuana restrictions across the globe.
