Hi! my name is Peter Vaughn. I am from the community of White Horses in the parish of St Thomas, Jamaica. I am 19 years old, very ambitious, hardworking, polite and a trustworthy young man with a passion for smiling. I am dedicated to complete any task that I commit to. In 2015, I transitioned to the Yallahs High School (YHS) as an underachiever. Despite the obstacles, I was determined to succeed.
In 2018, I was selected to be the Deputy Head Boy of the YHS. Other than academics, I am also involved in almost every sporting activities, while at the same time dedicating most of my time to study. Friends refer to me as ‘Calma’ because I am very calm when playing football as a member of YHS Football Team. I was able to overcome several obstacles and have managed to achieve nine Caribbean Secondary Examination Certificate subjects in one sitting at the YHS. In addition, my excellent performance made me one of the most talked about students at the YHS. I was also awarded the Sports Man of the Year and the Principal award at my graduation. I am always neatly attired and punctual.
Currently, I attend the Morant Bay High School (MBHS) where I am completing a sixth form program (program) which consist of four Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination subjects. I believe this program will grant me continuity and the opportunity to achieve my dreams and aspirations as an Architect, Entrepreneur and a Marketing Manager. My hobbies are swimming, playing football and running (athletics). I am also a member of MBHS Track and Field Team.
